The Poggendorff Illusion

The Poggendorff Illusion was named after Poggendorff who discovered this illusion. In this illusion, a straight black and red line is obscured by a grey rectangle. The blue line appears to be a continuation of the black one where as actually it is the continuation of the red line.

Are all the four lines of same size? Many of you might think the horizontal line which makes the top of T is shorted but actually its not. These all are of exactly same length.
