The answer is yes!!! they are placed as longer of one is placed along shorter side of other and thus they dont look alike but if we place them same side end to end then they are of same size!!!

Do you think the red balls in the center are of same size? If yes then you are right and if no then see it again..The things which might confuse you are the side balls due to which mind is not able to figure out that both are of same size.
