I have supernatural powers - no sorry, i don´t. basically what i did (again) was i recorded a frame of myself about every half second, then sped it up at different speeds. by using the editing trick on eye movement, it reminded me of some of tool´s art from their guitarist Adam Jones. since it reminded of TOOL, i decided to use a Justin Chancellor-style (kinda) bass recording of mine to accompany the video. I wrote/jammed/recorded that audio about 5 years ago with a cheapo effect board. the echo effect turned out pretty nice actually, i think, considering what a piece of crap the effect board is.

Create some spooky ambiance in the simple flick of a switch. Frosted rotating dome casts shadowy shapes and figures on surrounding surfaces for a scary optical illusion. Switch-activated light and motion; battery operated. The perfect night light for any Halloween-er.

Focus on the word “JESUS” in the center of the movie. An optical illusion will appear surrounding the word “JESUS.” Do not remove your focus from the word “JESUS.”

The green then orange dots you see are not really in the video, but they are “after images.” For the field of vision, they are like echoes in the field of audio. The after image is special because we can perceive it, yet it is not really there. This is an invitation into the realm of that which we are not supposed to be able to see. This is an invitation to share the Holy Spirit!!!

The after image also provides an interesting postmodern critique of reality; indeed, all that we see is merely a fabrication of the spectrum of light catpured through our eyes and interpreted through visual perception. There is so much that we cannot see, so much in the realm of after images, which humbles us to our fabricated and material selves while giving us hope of something greater than that which we can understand.

A 6′ circular projection screen made from steel and paper was photographed, imported into Adobe After Effects and animated. This video was projected back onto the original screen to create moire patterns and some good visuals.
