Left Brain Right Brain – See What Works For You

If you see this lady turning in clockwise you are using your right brain. If you see it the other way, you are using left brain. Some people do see both ways, but most people see it only one way.

right-brain-left-brain-illusion

See if you can make her go one way and then the other by shifting the brain’s current.
BOTH DIRECTIONS CAN BE SEEN.

Experimentation has shown that the two different sides, or hemispheres of the brain are responsible for different manners of thinking.

Most individuals have a distinct preference for one of these styles of thinking. Some, however, are more whole-brained and equally adept at both modes. In general, schools tend to favor left-brain modes of thinking, while downplaying the right-brain activities.

Left-brain scholastic subjects focus on logical thinking, analysis, and accuracy. Right-brained subjects, on the other hand, focus on aesthetics, feeling, and creativity..

We are thankful to Mr Jose for such a informational post.

    WHEN YOU”RE NOT LOOKING THE DIRECTION CHANGES!!! its true because I was staring at it, then at the same given moment as last time, its right leg was spinning. Then, it just suddenly switched to the left leg unexpectedly! And its animated, so it might be true.

    its like its automated to turn the other way? is this thing for real? anyone?

    @Putesca :
    It’s legit watch it in an application which only plays it back once it is a very short animation
    @nephut:
    No it’s not automated it is an optical illusion. Your brain secretly adjusts images based on its experiences with vertical and horizontal lines

    I’ve found that if I view it via periphery it is easier to change the direction of the spin.

    I can see both, by diverting my eyes away from the picture, to the left then to the right-one minute she’s pointing her right leg and going one way, the next its the left leg and going the other way! Fascinating! Also, have looked at it and for seconds its like she’s just swinging her leg from side to side-obviously my brain using both hemispheres.

    I can see her go both ways, at first it was clockwise but once you concentrate you can make her go either way at any time by will. I focus on the foot staying on the ground because it makes her look like she’s just swinging her leg back and forth.

    Does anyone know how it can change which leg that
    it spins on?

    If you look long enough it will switch on its own and change direction. I checked three times, waiting as long as three minutes, but it does switch direction on its own. Maybe it’s been programmed to do this?

    This thing is so weird! My dad and I were both looking at it and we both saw it moving clock wise but then it switched directions for me and it didn’t for him!

    i could see spinnning her legs in both directions and i could see her moving changing her leg(left while spinning in anticlockwise direction and right when spinning in clockwise direction).but i would like to know the making of the scene.

    yeah….. i found out the making of this scene.
    Mr jose made it very cleverly,changed both hands and legs positions exactly in half of the frames

    Yup. Agree with a poster previously who said that the dolls is just swinging side to side. For me to change direction is quite easy. scroll down the page where only the feet are swinging. Concentrate on the middle foot and the heel. If you make try to make it CW then the rest of the body follows. If you try to make it go CCW the rest of the body will follow.
