The green then orange dots you see are not really in the video, but they are “after images.” For the field of vision, they are like echoes in the field of audio. The after image is special because we can perceive it, yet it is not really there. This is an invitation into the realm of that which we are not supposed to be able to see. This is an invitation to share the Holy Spirit!!!

The after image also provides an interesting postmodern critique of reality; indeed, all that we see is merely a fabrication of the spectrum of light catpured through our eyes and interpreted through visual perception. There is so much that we cannot see, so much in the realm of after images, which humbles us to our fabricated and material selves while giving us hope of something greater than that which we can understand.
